North U Seminar

North U will be hosting their annual seminar at MIT this year and we are offering free admission to all current MITNA members. This year’s presentation will focus on tactics and rules which will be hosted in 6-120 on Saturday, March 29 from 9-4.

Dave Dellenbaugh will be the lecturer. He has been involved with 3 America’s Cup campaigns as tactician. Most notably Dave was the tactician and starting helmsman for MIT’s own Bill Koch when he won the America’s Cup on America Cubed. Dave has won the US Match Race Champs, Team Race Champs and been a world champion in both the Lightning and Thistle classes.

You MUST email Sailing Master Fran Charles your request to be put on the MIT door list before Tuesday, March 25 at 1700.

Breakfast and lunch are provided. All MIT participants should bring $15 check or cash with them to cover that expense. Samantha Scolamiero [samajane@worldnet.att.net] will be organizing the catering and helping with the details of AV equipment and trash. Please coordinate and plan to give her a hand as the event gets closer.
