Saturday Sail - skipper/crew training

Description
Saturday training sail - open to all but preference given to those activley pursuing a Nevermore "Crew" and/or the "Skipper" rating. Day promises to be superb! - temp in high 50's/low 60's and light winds 5-10knots.
We will be concentrating on:
· cleating and coiling lines for various situations
· motoring onto and off of a mooring (ideal conditions - the mooring field is empty!)
· sailing onto and off of a mooring
· docking against a floating dock
· docking against a fixed dock or piling
· proper use of lines when docking
· anchoring skills
· proper use of winches and general line handling
· understanding of mainsail and headsail trim, including proper use of sheets, traveler, vang
· sail reefing techniques
· Heaving to
· Man-overboard
· VHF radio protocols
