X-Dimension sail/work party

Description

We will go for a short sail in the morning and then work in the afternoon. 

We will be prepping the boat for hauling, as well as getting ready for off-season work. If you are interested in what is involved in winterizing a boat this workparty is for you. 

We will:

• Go sailing for the last time this season
• Remove the instruments from the head of the mast
• Remove sails, cushions, foulies, pfds, etc. from the boat and store at the pavilion or elsewhere
• Remove the aluminum quarter plates (this involves drilling out S/S screwbolts)
• Drain the water tank and water lines and fill with polypropylene antifreeze 
• Empty the boat of food and bottled water

So, free food for everyone!
