Description
This is a sailing trip from Boston to Portland and return. We will leave Boston at 1730 Friday night and sail through the night to Portland, where we will dock to have lunch. We will then set sail to return to Boston, arriving Sunday around noon.
This sail is for those with prior bluewater experience who are interested in learning/practicing how to sail a boat through the night. We will stand watch, practicing dead reckoning, maintaining a chart plot, night-time navigation and sailing skills, and other multi-day trip tasks.
Preference will be given to those who are not going on the first leg of the Maine trip. A sailing card is required.
