Description
Rhodes-19 Trip to Lovell's Island
The Sailing Pavilion would like to welcome you to the first Harbor Sail aboard Rhodes-19s of the season. It will travel down the Charles River out into the Boston Harbor, and to scenic Lovell's Island for a picnic and possible swimming and hiking oppurtunties. The goal of this trip is to not only provide a fun trip for all, but also give harbor sailing experience to a decent number of new sailors to establish a base for future harbor tirps. While sailors of any experience level are encourged to join the skipper for each boat needs either significant harbor or bluewater sailing expereince or be checked off by a leader of the trip, Mark or Eric Throop. Thank you and we hope to see you there.
Due to the incoming storms from Hurricane Hannah we will be expecting 30+ mph of wind, hence we will be delaying the harbor trip to the following Saturday. We apologize for the late notice but sadly we cannot control the weather. If you can no longer make the trip, especially if we have spoken to you about skipping a boat, or have any further questions please contact us.
