Training Monday - Intro to Bluewater Sailing

Training sails--usually Tuesdays--are a chance to develop bluewater sailing skills and the specifics of sailing Mashnee.  These sessions are focused on practicing specific techniques and building competence through repetition.  Some sessions will focus on basic skills for new sailors; others will focus on advanced skills for sailors with some existing experience.

This session will be an on-the-boat introduction to sailing large boats like Mashnee, particularly for winches and line handling.  Bluewater sailing is a team effort.  If you've never been out on a large boat before, or have gone once or twice and want to solidify the basics, this session is for you.

We will meet at Waterboat Marina at 5:30 and spend the evening on the water, returning by 8:30.
