Description
Sad to say, but the end of another sailing season has arrived for X-Dimension.We are organizing a work party to complete much of the winterization process. We aim to:
- Offload much of the items (e.g. sails, cushions) from the boat and store them at the pavilion.
- Replace the halyards with messenger lines (and take the halyards to the pavilion)
- Empty the freshwater and blackwater systems, and winterize with antifreeze
- Remove the instruments from the top of the mast (we will need to send someone up the mast who can remove the instruments)
- Clean the boat
As they say, many hands make light work, so please sign up. I'm thinking we could use two teams with a combined count of 8 folks.
A free lunch will be provided. And yes, this does count as off-season maintenance and gives you points towards selection for next season's sails!
