Two-Day Sail to Provincetown on X Dimension

Description

This will be a two-day sail aboard X Dimension.  We will depart Boston Harbor on Saturday and sail out toward Stellwagen Bank where we will demonstrate and practice offshore sailing skills, including navigation beyond sight of shore.  We will then sail to Provincetown where we will pick up a mooring and have dinner ashore.  We will spend the night aboard X Dimension and depart Provincetown on Sunday morning for more offshore sailing, returning to Boston Harbor late on Sunday afternoon.

This is a late-season offshore sail and will require crewmembers to have proper cold weather clothing, including sound foul weather gear.  More information on gear and food will be provided to those who sign up.  Note:  To be considered for this sail, you must have a current MITNA sailing card.  Preference will be given to those with previous bluewater experience.  If you have any questions, please contact the skipper, Steve Bussolari, at bussolari@ll.mit.edu
