Description
Sail overnight Saturday night, nap a bit and/or go ashore for a bit of nature or food, and return Boston during the day Sunday.
The distance we'll sail depends on-- in addition to the wind & weather -- how late folks care to get back to Boston Sunday eve. Schedule is for 6 or 7 PM return. However, the boat will be reserved to allow continuing overnight and into Monday.
Criteria for selecting crew includes some familiarity with Nevermore deck layout and operation (or some experience on other 28-foot or larger sailboats), sailing ratings from pavilion, and the like. There are no absolutes, but safety requires a little experience.
Keep in mind that Nevermore's accommodations are still rather spartan, although a lot of work has been done by crew and skippers. Especially: no cushions, maybe no fresh water, head maybe just functional by then, stove unknown functionality so far...
