Training Monday - Safety & Emergency Response

Description

Training sails are a chance to develop bluewater sailing skills and the specifics of sailing Mashnee.  These sessions are focused on practicing specific techniques and building competence through repetition.  Some sessions will focus on basic skills for new sailors; others will focus on advanced skills for sailors with some existing experience.

This session will focus on safety and emergency response on the water.  Topics may include crew overboard drills, safety gear, and fire or flooding response, depending on conditions.  This class will be aimed at sailors who are already familiar with basic operations on Mashnee.

We will meet at Waterboat Marina at 5:30 and spend the evening on the water, returning by 8:30.
