  • The MIT Sailing Pavilion and the MITNA organizing committee are proud to bring back the 2010 Charles River Open Team Race!

The 2010 CRO Team Race will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 12-13. Once again high paced action will be featured on the Charles River, with expert race management provided by volunteers and members of the last event winners in 2008, team Larchbone. As always, amazing hospitality will be provided by the MIT Sailing Pavilion staff. We will use 36 FJs enabling us to have a high volume of races for all participants.2007 CROTR - Dock Full

Entry will be limited to high school and college team racers and others who have actively contributed back to high school and college sailing. These sailors must have spent a minimum of two full days to help run, umpire, judge, or coach at a college or high school sailing event in this academic year.

There is a field in the registration form to provide information about the event you assisted and contact info for the organizer who will be asked to verify your participation.

    Your registration includes:

  • PARTY!
Saturday night aboard the Charles River 'Lexington' "pahty boat" for all CROTR 2010 racers & volunteers!
  • Extra tickets for Red Bones dinner & Pahty Boat: $25

NOTE: There will be an initial limit of twenty-four (24) registered teams. If a large number of waiting list teams sign-up, we will add teams in groups of 6 at a time (to maintain consistency in the scoring system we need groups of 6).

    VOLUNTEER!

We are always looking for volunteers to help run this huge and important event. If you can volunteer please contact us with the following information:
