Description

This will be a 3-day weekend bluewater sail. The destination will be determined by the weather; but possible destinations include Marion, MA (through the Cape Cod canal) and Isle of Shoals off of Portsmouth. We will depart Friday late afternoon and sail overnight, and dock somewhere Saturday morning. We will sail Sunday, and return to Boston no later than 4 PM Monday afternoon. This sail is intended as an introduction to offshore cruising for MITNA members with bluewater experience (on X Dimension or other 30-ft or larger cruising sailboats). Please note that we will be sailing for many hours in potentially bumpy seas, so be sure to consider your susceptibility to seasickness. There will be room for 5 crewmembers and crew confirmation will be made by Thursday morning Oct 10th at the latest.
