The purpose of the Crew rating is to allow you to expand your sailing knowledge beyond the basics of sailing a Tech dinghy or any of our boats on the Charles River. This rating is not required to qualify for any other rating. If you leave the Pavilion to sail elsewhere and you don’t know most of this material, please don’t embarrass us by telling everyone that you are an MIT sailor!

Detailed information is available in the Pavilion’s Instruction Manual.
