PARKING

Parking tends to be limited around MIT and the Sailing Pavilion, so best if you can use Public Transportation, bike, or walk.

Your easiest option is to park along Memorial Drive (westbound), which is metered ($1.25/hr) from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Saturday for unlimited hours (but free on Sunday).

        Payment is by Credit Card at a kiosk, or using the Passport Parking app by phone.

Note that other nearby street parking in Cambridge is often limited to 2 hours.

 

 If you can't find space on Memorial Drive, might use Parkopedia/SpotHero/ParkWhiz or other sites/apps to help you find deals on parking garages nearby.

There are a several garage options in Kendall Square and East Cambridge with closest being:

     62 Main St = One Memorial Drive

     Hayward Garage (MIT) (Close by, but very expensive without discounted pricing!)

SATURDAY DINNER FROM BLUE RIBBON BBQ

A BBQ Dinner from Blue Ribbon will be provided on Saturday.

Expected to arrive around 5:00 pm so will likely end racing for the day at a convenient stopping point based on the weather conditions and nunber of races completed.
